If you got remote central locking, disconnect the pins from the back of the door lock to the mechanism (not gonna say why but trust me, you probs already know) then if you got the grey bits at the top of the doors like the GSi and GTE its easier, mark where the lock pins sit when locked and cut off the tops so they sit flush when the door is locked so noone can unlock the door as there is nothing to pull up to unlock it, just makes it either a little less tempting to get in or at least more awkward for the fcukers!!!
Good to see you got her back in one piece and so soon too matey!!!

Adam
12-05-06, 01:56 PM
Ye/\
Thats what mine is done like, i have no door pins at all.

SuperNova!
12-05-06, 02:50 PM
I thought of that but instead I got some solex locks because you can dead-lock them and then the pins cannot be pulled up and the door doesnt open if you pull the handle.

Seems to be prett safe

?117 is right for recovering it, i work at a recovery place. We dont make the charges the police set them up, its ?105 call-out fee and ?12 a day parking. these charges are this high because of the people who's car we impound and dont cough up, we also have to pay to scrap the cars. i know its unfair but thats the great british roads/driving laws. i have also been on the receiving end of these charges before i started at the recovery firm, i had to pay a weeks parking (at ?18) because the police werent sure who took the car !?!

draper
12-05-06, 04:31 PM
although if you picked the car up within a day id drop the ?12 charge

normally people claim it back of the insurance company but obviously for ?117 its not worth it, if recovery operators worked for free then we'd all shut down then you'd be f**ked when you break down !!

just imagine if your car was stolen and found, the police couldn't get it towed away because there were no recovery operators anymore so the next night the pikeys came back and torched it, you'd wish you had the option to pay ?117 !!

I just accepted a employment opportunity that is conditional on passing a background check. The service conducting the check, Intellicorp, advertises a turnaround time of three to five days, but I’ve waited 8 days without receiving my report. When I asked their customer service, they said the report is still processing. My background is clear of criminal records, and all information is accurate except for a minor discrepancy in my job title. The title on my resume does not exactly match what my employer has listed, though it’s almost the same and was clarified with approval from my previous company’s HR department. This delay is bringing me considerable anxiety because I need to move states for this new role. I must coordinate my last day at my current job, secure housing, and start the new position within a few weeks. However, I don’t want to make official any plans until the background check is complete and approved. Has anyone else experienced long delays with Intellicorp background checks? If so, any advice on polite ways to check status without sounding sketchy would really help my worries. To learn more about Intellicorp background checks, visit IntelliCorp screening info (https://ig-tchad.org/intellicorp-background-check/). Waiting for background checks can be stressful, but staying calm in communications often helps. It’s important to keep records of all correspondences with the screening company. Regular but respectful follow-ups can sometimes speed up processing times. Knowing your rights to access and dispute background check information is crucial for everyone going through the hiring process. Sharing experiences and advice with others facing similar delays can provide comfort and guidance. Keeping organized during a job transition reduces stress and helps with smooth relocation and onboarding. Many employers understand these timing challenges and appreciate honest communication from candidates. Background screening delays aren’t uncommon, especially when verifying detailed or complex information. Remaining proactive and informed can make the process less daunting. For anyone preparing for a job move, budgeting extra time for background checks is wise.
