Crunching gears

I have a 88 1.2 Merit on 61000 miles. When the car is warm it doesn't want to shift between gears very easily (I have to move to neutral, then give it a little time). I have just had a new clutch cable put on 500 miles ago, is it a case of adjusting this or is my clutch or synchromesh going? The biting point is fine, and it doesn't feel like the clutch is slipping.

If anyones had this problem before please help! Dan

Was it like that before you had the clutch cable replaced?

Nope, or if it was I didn't notice it so it couldn't have been that bad

Ye, probably needs the clutch cable adjusting.

The clutch pedal should sit slightly above the brake pedal.
