I was wondering if coilsprings make front 80mm springs. If not are there any other ways or suggestions to make the front lower?

Better performance yes. Cheaper... hell no! lol

I just got a quote from coilsprings for a 60mm spring kit for the astravan. ?150.00 + VAT. Of course 60mm and lower will require shortened shockers, but these can be had very cheap if you shop around.

you could just cut a coil or a little bit off the spring. might be alright if your only cutting a little bit off i think. or would it handle crap as i was thinking of cutting like half a coil off my fronts. its the s**t way to do it but if it still handles good then why not

You can do this and it can be fine. I done it on my nova but the first time just guessed how much to cut off and it drove like a space hopper. So measure it out the same on all of the springs.

Cutting standard springs isn't really advised as you can weaken the integrity of the spring.
