this is the sbd 225taper throttle body kit witch have fitted to this fully rebuilt xe motor with a cylinder head developments fast road head witch should prouduce 230 bhp they tell me so lets c how it works out in germany

will be fun getting that all run in and mapped in time :D
id guess on the mpa they provide it will do about 205-210bhp as they generally go for safety rather than proper mapping on those kits as not eveyones engine will be to their spec.

good luck

I'll be amazed if you get that to PV!!
Looks very costly to sort that out!

Shame to hear it, looked like it was going well up until that point

Oh mate so gutted for ya.

Hope you get it sorted, anyone at fault? Not good seeing a new piston like that. Obviously the block is proper f**ked too. If that happened again you would have worse luck than me..

Good luck sorting it & I hope you find the cause.

hi the reason for the major damage was caused by a defective oil resrictor valve in the block witch caused a oil surge to the head an starved the bottom end witch in turn caused the bronze bearing at the top of the conrod to decintigrate and the rod gave way an hay presto dead engine altho the steel rods are needed til after 250+ they are been dun this time as the bottom is having the full hog this time pul16v oh an it wud be nice if craig green wud tell the mig web lads y this happened thanks

As posted on MIG it is not a oil restrictor its only a oil none return valve to prevent oil draining back to the pump. It does not affect the flow to the bottom end.

If someone told you this was the reason for your engine problems i suggest you send them a friendly slap.
