Norich union as a named driver?
Fronting = bad

Try Elephant (http://www.Elephant.co.uk) or Admiral (http://www.admiral.co.uk) - both will give you a lower quote if you add a more experienced drivers to the policy (as in 2nd, 3rd named drivers).

But tbh, on a 1.3SR at 17 you should expect high quotes for a reason!

1.3Sr at 17 might not be that expensive, they seem to be mega cheap to insure for some reason.

As Novas are easy to Nick and many do get nicked. Also they are seen as Boy Racer cars, And also many new drivers especialy 17 year olds have acedents

If you put your mum/dad/aunt/dog down as the primary driver, and you as a named driver when its actually you who is the primary driver - thats fronting and technically insurance fraud as you're saying "my mum/dad/aunt/dog uses the car most of the time, and I use it on the odd occasion". Friend of mine had an accident and his insurance company refused to pay out as he couldn't prove he wasn't the main driver. He's now got points on his license for driving without insurance... Extreme case, but it can and does happen.
