f10 how fast!!!!!!!

hi what is the top speed of f10 gear box and are they any good if i was to change it what would you lads suggest cheers

you can go 30000000 mph with one if you have the right wheels, rev limit and power lol

the f10 has had diffs from 4.5-1 to 3.74-1, and 1-1 & 0.89-1 top gears
the f13 has pretty much the same gears & diffs. a gte f13cr box does 20mph per 1000 rpm.

my 1300sr had f10 box.. it done 40mph in 1st. 2nd 65mph. 3rd 95ish. 4th 118.5th 125+

as has been said before,
a 50hp car will probably do 85 mph
a 75hp car " " " 95mph
a 100hp car " " " 120mph
a 150hp car " " " 140mph

the gearing is not really that relevant in a small car unless you are actually competing with it. When I first stuck my 1.6gte engine in, I seriously thought about putting a 4 speed gbox in because I got sick of changing gear all the time with the cr box.

I'll also post up my 1st and 2nd gear speeds when i get my waterpump and timing belt back on. Its a f13cr with 4.18fd, the gearing appears to be very low with my 185/55/14 tyre's.

first off most nova rev counters are inaccurate and 2nd off the speedos are even more inaccurate. hence why i wrote that site.....
so you can work out exactly how out each of the gauges is etc. never mind.
