im thinking it will cost about 400 pound for all the filling and smoothing and then all priming to be done does this sound about right or am dreaming
ive never had a full car go in the body shop before does 400? sound about right to you ,, the guy its going did a door for me it needed the plate re welded on and then all dints and plate all smoothing in he did an amazing job and primed it all he charged me 40quid
i wouldnt know how much bodyshops charge matey, but i like the look of your car !!!
are they spraying the car aswell or just puttin primer on it? iwould of thought with sprayin at least 1k. I got quoted 1k for my nova and the body work it mint except a few dents and a small bit of rust

not the respray just to finish the bodywork and prime it
?400 sounds cheap to me but to be honest im not sure

Hmm, if thats not including the actual painting (i.e. no cost for paint and painting labour) I'd say ?400 sounds ok.
How come you're not getting it painted? If you leave it primered you'll just have to rub down and re-primer when you come to do the top coats of paint?

Thats abit of a daft comment mate lol, but as an example of why some of us drive nova's when we earn an average wage is probably because aswell as family's, homes etc we also own other cars, here are mine in the order of family car, my plodder and my 'toy'

So please just because the majority of us still have nova's dont make the assumption that its all we live for etc.

ladies ladies - put your handbags away! lol!
back to the subject in hand - ?400 sounds cheap to me. If theyre flatting the whole thing back, de rusting and fixing up your work (ie smoothing, filling etc) they Id say ?400 is cheap imo. However this all depends on the condition of ther car at present, how good your work is and whether the shop is reputable.
If theyre priming it too then ?400 is either mates rates or (if you say theyre good) v reasonable!

Anywoo. Stick up some pics when the work is complete - if its good stuff, I'm sure some other members may well take their cars there.

its a full bonnet skin from quod conversions the coluor is going to be dark purple with orange flip gonna look well nice when all done the sideskirts was a b11cth to fit on and when i finally got them on i did not like them too squere for the look of me car so decided too cut down and mould in some abyss ones i think they turned out pretty good nothing better than a bit of customizing ,,
