splitting nova tailight lenses??

ive got my clear rear lights on and i want to take the top half of my original red GM lights and swap them with the clears (someone on here has done this IIRC)

how is it done without cracking the lenses?

stick em in a warm oven (switched off) after your Mum* has finished cooking tea.

Dont you just spray the inside of the clears red??

but as said heat them, and they should seperate
