can i use spi pump with weber

For some reason there is no fuel getting to mechincal fuel pump. Can i use my electric spi fuel pump along with my pressure regulator? The spi pump is still fitted but disconnected at the moment. I want to try it instead of mechincal pump to see if it will lift the fuel? Thanks
BTW the green line is the feed to the mechincal fuel pump is'nt it?

btw its a weber twin choke 32/34 not twin 40s

The mechanical pump probably isn't working right as you still have the SPi tank and pump.
And the fuel out from the tank is through the spi pump, so i think that stops the mechanical pump pulling fuel out of the tank.
