how much have you all spent on bodywork (not including interior) also how much is a full inside and out respray gunna cost me considering i will strip and prep the car myself????

Re-spray cost depends on what paint you're going for....plain solid such as Carmine red or Glacier white, or some fancy multi-flip one-off jobbie.
Obviously, the solid original GM colour will be cheaper.....what do you want?

if you prep the outside makesure you do a really good job coz alot of sprayers won't touch even slightly poorly preped cars and you'll have wasted alot of time and effort...
Also they'll want to take the windows out so if you have tints watch it when they do

I got interior for me mk 2 from an old sr for ?60 - full lot including tops on doors and rear panels :D. Seats real bargin but had to fashion a device to hold 3/4 split in place properly.
As for respray Ive spend about ?250 so far for pain (2pak) with proper car masking tape (not that shite from B&Q that melts the glue when paint hits it X-() and a proper free air flow mask. You'll be luck to get body shop to touch if self prep as 80% of respray goes on prep alone - if naff will destroy new paint job - they will instst on going over car 1st so they are satisfied with prep. Do it yerself (pain that is)

Iv spent about ?1,300 ish :O on things like digi dash, suspension(springs), bumpers, bumper spraying etc

im just going for a full body respray in solid midnight blue. How much for them to prep and spray. I will strip the car myself even the windows cos i know how to do that.
