Have fitted a 32/34 to a 14nv block, which is std apart from 4 branch manifold and exhaust system. The weber is using its standard jets, but will not run properly, it will die out when i go on full throttle, but fine with half throttle. this happened even before i fitted the manifold and exhaust, so it is'nt the mods have'nt effected the weber jets.
When i floor the boot and the engine starts to die, its producing black smoke so its smothering itself (rich) I have fitted a pressure regulator and also the mixture screw is not making much difference when almost in full, its still not running rite and is rich. Does anyone know what is wrong? Could you suggest what jets i could use. I am confused becuase these jets should suit my 1400 engine. If its any good i'll list the std jets.

Primary Secondry
Main Jet 117 125 or 130
Air Corrector 165 175
E Tube F30 F25
Idle Jet 60 60

Also the engine is idling fine. Can a wrong pump jet cause these problems, where abouts on the carb is it located? Thanks
