ive tried hunting the relevant threads down and its a complete mare. i found a couple of them but other than that i think we are going to have to re write them....

If you know the name plug that into google add quotes round it then add novaload at the end. When the results come back if you click the cached link you should be able to find it. Here's Stu's FD swap I found that way.

The FD (Final Drive is the last gear ratio seen by the gearbox before transmitting the drive engery to the wheels. This gear is permanently engaged so even when you change gear it still gets used, also applicable to reverse gear too. A low numberd FD will give the car better top speed over a
