just bought a nova the other day, 1994 1.2 with 48000 miles (thank fcuk for old women not drivin far) very solid car, just the battery tray thats the worst!! arches solid just some surface rust, came with full years tax and four new tires. ?280

about too strip it out and completely mod it. Hate most of the kits for a nova so making our own.
Any one know the round arches you get on a 2litre Hot rod!!! (not the national arches) gona stick them on her
What you think about the arches? they are quite round so would it look sh#t because the nova is square?

Yes, it probably would unless you were to redo the entire front end with bespoke panels.

Lower 60-80mm, cav gsi alloys, gsi/gte bumpers, de-strip, gte/gsi window strips/surrounds, get rid of any visible rust and give it a really good paintjob in a nice-but-uncommon colour then?

You wanna check that its not plated up cos theres NO WAY its a 1994 nova.
Its even rare to find a 93 model wen they stoped making them;)

1993-1994 is L reg, so its possible its one of the last ones to be registered. Logbook will have date of first registration in it anyway.

how would you check that it has been plated??
the guy who owns it seems to know fcuk all about cars, i offered him a swao for a 306 (a really sh#tty one) n he wasn't looking in the right places to see where the rust was?!

You can just check the chasis number under the carpet on the driver side and the plate under the bonnet matches your documents. And make sure its not welded togetherlol Woundnt like to see anyone getten ripped off. Happened to a mate of mine b4. Hope everything is ok and you've got yourself a minter.:thumb:
