Vauxhall Nova 1.4i Merit J reg in Dark Red Repairs or spares
Selling due to too many cars and no time to fix up, this was a fun car but sadly the cam belt snapped and not had the time to fix and since then the mot and tax has run out. So it is a non-runner but still rolls to be collected on a trailer

Still has rear badges, most Nova owners remove them!?

Corsa stalks fitted and working straight swap
Electrically adjustable headlamps
Under bonnet looks quite rust free, seen a lot of rusty seems on some.
Bad points
Stood for 6 months since problem waiting to be fixed from the cambelt snapping, then got a temporay car till it was fixed but never got done, last night some prat smashs the window and tries to rob the steering coloum and snapps a screw driver in the lock!!!
Rear arhcs are a bit tatty from rust, the odd stone chip and parking dent as every car.
Don?t have any current pictures as its parked at a m8 house and will be move to Gloucester for collection,
Drivers seat one of the bits of plastic in the runners has cracked so theres a bit of play on the seat 1-2mm hardly noticeable
Gear stick missing, it had a Momo knob which was worth around 50 quid, the ring that covers the Allen key was on so tight it twisted out so needs to be refitted.
No hubcaps, no radio

The mileage is around 120k, not sure havn?t check for a while. Driving up a lane around 20mph and the cam belt snapped, I?m guessing replacement head or engine? I?ve wipped the head off and can?t see any bent valves but my dad says there may be bent springs abnd its not worth taking the head apart. so best to say it needs a new head. All the expensive bits on the pre cambelt issue ie, alloy petrol cap, exhaust trim, SR grill badge have been removed and its back to standard, it may have a front wheel bearing going, this may be the Metro GTi we have parked up though as havn?t touched either for 4 odd months!
Listed as fair as I can be, its only going to fetch a small amount
Hoping it can have a new owner to either use for spares or repair up or make into a rally car with new engine etc or a crazy 2.0 16v conversion who knows? The shell isn?t bad as some Nova suffer badly from the rust bug
Feel free to ask any Questions as this will help sell the car, I don?t wont to tow it down the local scrapyard as someone must want it? So 50 quid and its yours
the 2 last picures are of it last year, the paint work is not that bright and the wheels have been sold. cheers
