dash problems

ive fitted the mark 2 dash to my mark 1 nova now i cant get the centre consol in do i have to put the console in then the dash its really fustrating me also since ive put the new dash in my stereo has stopped working any suggestions would really help

Stereo could be bad earth? Centre console should fit in ok, can be a bit of a squueze - I'm assuming you're using a Mk2 centre console not the Mk1 item?
