ok so i found some bk racing ones i want for the nova but the offset is 38, is 38 going downwards getting thinner or wider? Im after aftermarket alloys and when i find some that fit the nova will be selling my sxi alloys but im scared i wont be able to find alloys that will fit my nova :(.

Novas are ET49 Offset, the smaller the number the wider the wheels will stick out from the hub.. So 38 is gonna need alot of archwork depending on how low you want the car. I once had TSW Venoms on a Nova and the offset was that wrong that the arch sat on top of the tyre!! Needless to say they were binned pretty quickly.

You can get any aftermarket alloy in most offsets, they produce each design of alloy in different offsets so it doesnt really matter what design people have got. Ive got 16" Softstars with 195/45/16 tyres which are ET49 as there Vauxhall/Irmscher wheels on a 60mm drop and they rub on the drivers side rear arch but they havent been rolled. Every car is different though.

BK238 (http://www.bkracing.co.uk/aspbite/alloy-wheels/gallery-wheel.asp?ID=7)

I think et38 on a 16" wheel would be a bit much, mine were only 15" so I managed to get away with it...

I would straight swap them for some 16" alloys with similer offset to 49 but i can't decide weather to keep them or not, you think they look ok on my car when it has been lowered and bodykitted?

well all novas are differant, i have 15" OZ's with ET38 and 195/45/15 tyres and rolled arches and they rub, but only just.
