You need a engine crane, a nova and a 2.5 V6 engine.

you can do anything you like in all fairness. but why not get motability to get him a converted car for his needs? far safer than most things you'd do (no offence)

oh and please try to avoid text typing (dont get all defensive either :p )

Is everyone on here stupid? all i want to know are the answers to my questions, not be spoken to by a couple of senior members who are still in nappies, are mounts available? How do you mean safer? i have more mechanical qualifications than probably anyone else on here so the build isnt a problem!

If you have that many mechanical qualifications then you shud be able to do it with your eyes closed, its not rocket science.

does mad rick read the threads properly? thanks il try them, if i have to design the mounts myself thats not a problem as long as have dimensions to go to. fitting isnt the problem, i was only asking if anyone had already made mounts to do the job!

answer to your question NO, you have to make your own mounts

300-350ish maybe a touch more if you have an autospastic boax with the lovely and "efficient" torque convertor

Have a look at this link and go into the image gallery, and there's a V6 nova, not much info on it though, but it may give you some idea's
http://www.nova-land.com/

as a matter of logic IMO, those cav V6 are around 170bhp or something, would it not be easier, maybe also cheaper to get that same power out of a 20xe? you'd also save weight, not haveing to carry around too big blocks lol :-) and maybe better handling? conversion been done so many times, there's hundreds of spares and parts for fitting, and the answer's are all there for any problems you encounter. But if your making a point that you want it to be different well thats fine.

V6 would have more torque than the XE I suppose... How do they compare for tuneability?

Stuart

its funking expensive to tune the V6.. and at a few 1/4 mile days std XE's have beaten std V6's... and the XE would handle better than the V6, but still not quite as well as a small block ;)
