I need to take a nova dash out tomorrow, as my mates mk2 is off to that scrap heap in the sky and i want the dash for my MK1. What tools will i need to get the dash out??
And will a gsi back box fit a mk1 1.2 and come out straight(ish) as my old peco didn't.
Many thanks, Jim

Usual stuff, screw drivers, socket set, wire cutters, hammer, angle grinder. Make sure you got long reaching tools though.

take your time & it comes out nice & easy, most torque screws, screws & bolts are pretty easy to get to, but be a little gentle with smaller plastic bits & clips as they've probably got a tad brittle.

Undo all the bolts you can see and then pull hard lol

Bets way is to strip everything off it first (dials, cowlings, cigarette lighter surround, glovebox, vents etc) so you can get better access. There's a few (3? 4?) bolts up along the top in behind too which hold it to the bulkhead.

Try getting an exhaust for a Mk2 Nova - iirc the tailpipe on ones designed for the Mk2 come out straight as my old Peco did.
