Can any1 give me a half decent value of my car????????

ENGINE:
Its a 12st engine, with a 1400 pierburg 2E3 carb + manifold; got a 1400 twin down pipe exhaust, with a Janspeed Full race exhaust system. IT FLIES!!!! But it only a 4 speed box! uurrgghhh 90,000 miles
SHELL:
Is a MK1, in silk violet colour, SR mesh grille on it, GSI matched front n back bumpers, blue side lights n full rally main lights ?30!!!! Clear lense indicators, smoked back lights, LEGAL!! Chrome race wipers. Full black tints, NO rust, triple air horns
SUSPENSION:
Has GSI alloys with 185/65 R14 tyres, lowered 60mm, lovely cornering but BUMPY on country roads!!!!
ICE:
Kenwood 50Wx4, 2rca output, 2x 6X9" on back shelf, not visible from outside. Vibe Fly Trap 1000W 12" sub + amp combined
INTERIOR:
LOVELY!!!!!!!!!! Grey + black, immaculate condition!!!!! have pictures if needed, any sensible prices?????????????????????????????

id say its worth about ?500 tops.
if you want to sell it put it in the FS forum for what ever you think you want for it and see if someone will pay it.. its only worth what someone will give you.

if it flies then i should sell it to britsih aerospace, the aerodynamics of the car are a first in a new wave of boeing jets to be launched this year.

as for the car value, key points.

its a f reg. now they are cheap to buy and normally rotten.
get some pics up of the key areas and this might only push the price up a little.

First of all, i would like to add that the reason i have put a thread "value my nova", is obviously because i want a second opinion of my car.....
Secondly, i do realise that my car is an F reg, and i DID say that you are not pricing a tin can, which suggests no rust.......
Thirdly, obviously my car does not take off, and there are few cars that actually can. It was a figure of speech for "goes fast", but as you cannot spell BRITISH correctly, i will forget you said that JOKE, which was not funny!!!!!!!!!!

so if we are not valueing a tin can, why did you put he he he after it?

people perseption on it flies and tin can are two different things.

i have had many that looked solid and were rusted to bits, and i have had a tuned xe nova too and it was fast.

but as i also stated, if you show us more pictures ie engine bay, closer pic of the doors and also the wheel arches or rear floor pan. then you will get a better price as these are the key places nova's rot from.

personally i think ?500 is a valid price...... as said. if you want more put it up for more and see what response you get.

and ALL novas have rust ;) just you might not know exactly where to look for it.

The engine bay had a little rust before i owned it, but has been plated up + sprayed, no rust on front end of car or inside car, the back arches had started rusting, but new arche panels were placed, welded and blown in. Interior floors of car are immaculate condition, no sign of rust!!

Another thing, my racing nova needs a diff/gear change as i am running out of revs (only standard cam + followers), and i am putting an F13 in for stronger bearings, but does anybody know if the 2nd gear ratio is the same for the previous F10/WR 4 speed(3.9 diff), and the F13/WR 5 Speed(3.9 diff), as the gearbox is out of a 16sv ASTRA engine?????????????????

see the link in my sig, in the GB bit there is a link to all the ratios and while your there you can play with the speed in gear bit lol.

incidentally the bearings are the same for F10/13/15 (in most cases) infact the actual clusters are near as damn it identicle.


and yes my nova has rust on it, couldnt kill all of it off
