well when you try and start it does the engine turn over or not? Other than that you will need to get someone to have a look at it or even take it out

If you cant open the car with the fob, are you sure it isnt the battery?

wait and see what the others think but it could be the starter immobilised in which case you may be able to trace the wires from the alarm to the starter B'cos i thot an immob. would just intercept an existing connection and take it via the alarm unit So in effect u just want to join the wires together again i think

Depends on whats immobilised.

Our alarm (crappy laserline one) came with a small key which we can use to reset or disable the alarm, do you have something similar?

Some have a bypass key on the back of the siren unit.

How do you know the alarm is getting power to it?
If all seems fine alarm wise, then it could just be a knackered key fob.

i was told the alarm was fine, but just been outside to check it over and there is no power to the alarm as far as i am aware, also there is no key on the back of the siren unit.

any ideas what i can do next ?

find out what wire needs power And reconect it but check the earth before any others Otherwise you will just have to try and figure out where the wire for power is connected i think they normally do it in the fusebox i think!

have a look around the ignition barrel for new wires. you should be able to notice if theres any immobiliser wires added to the circuit

or even check for an inline fuse somehwere off the loom it may have blown

if you have time on your hands you can take the whole alarm out and re wire it back to standard. it took me about 4 hours cos my lazerline alarm shorted out and i had to use my car till i got my clifford.
