hi i have a nova gte (e16se) basically i have seen the turbos for c16se on mxaux.com. just wandering would it fit?

would i need to upgrade any other engine component, because i have been told that a standard engine would just melt.

What sorta power gain from those turbos?

thanks lee

best of junking the standard management in favour for something soemthing mappable, the standard stuff wont be great in you want huge increase, and run highish boost

id go for lower compression pistons (not sure if they come in the kit)
a proper fixed rate pressure regulator for the fuel
and aftermarket engine management.

should see you approx 180ish bhp maybe more if tis setup right

where could i get these:
lower compression pistons
proper fixed rate pressure regulator
aftermarket engine management.

also prices.

so i couldnt go and buy kit and chuck it on then no??

PS, what about intercooler?

lc pistons... mvaux do them at really good prices.

the FPR get a cossie weber one.

management... look for DTA S60, MBE (with boost control), Megasquirt (home made but rather good imo), KMS management etc but some will need a boost controller too.

i suggest a read of www.max-boost.co.uk for a better understanding of turbo engines

lee You could yeah, as thats what that kit is, MIGHT be ok running low boost
but it would be a lot better using LC pistons, aftermarket management, as you could run more boost etc then.

Mvaux. who do the kits, sell low comp pistons

Forged pistons for turboed C16SE engine in any compressio ratio you want: ?240
(measures: only 81 mm)

i've enquired about those pistons as stanard pistons are only 79mm, so you will need a re-bore to run the 81mm pistons. will take the engine to about 1680cc iirc.
