View Full Version : 15s
Went down to a local tyres/bumpers place and asked how much a set of tsw alpines cost on 15s. He said they dont have the right offset and then he said he wanted a look at the car he told me it needed arches rolled for 15 to fit on. Any 15s, the car has only been lowered 30mm. But Im sure that 15s fit on with out any body mods can anyone help??
They will need to be rolled for definite.
He's also right about the offset, Alpines don't come correct offset for nova's 49mm.
Seems you found a genuine mechanic, dying breed are they B-)

unlikely you'll need any body mods for 15's and 30 mil drop. The company I got my alloys off said the same thing but I blatantly didnt. unless ofcourse they are the wrong offset in which case you will. recommended offset is et45-49 mm.

i think ure talking about the vauxhall rear axel tolerance of 10mill, means it could bbe dead center or 10 mill either way. So one wheel could hit one arch on the outside arch and the other would catch on the inside arch

i had trouble with one of my 15s on the back but not with the other side so that proves the theory.
Me too, passengers side scrubbed, drivers side was well clear. That was running 195/50/15 wheels with ET 46.5
