Ok here is my Nova GTE. MOT March 2007 Tax Sept 06. Road legal and ready to go
Brought with no MOT after sitting for seven years. In that time it had travelled 25 miles. The car was fully stripped down and rebuilt to be rallyed but was never used. 3 owners including me. 87k. One lady owner until 99 then owned by some bloke (left the garage once!) and now me. Ive done 1000 miles in it since it passed its MOT and it is a hoot to drive but with only the space for one car it isnt practical for me everyday as I need a bigger car + I have another project on its way
Car has 2 problems. Front wheels have been balanced but it hasnt cured the shake @ 60ish. I think the machine was faulty. There is an oil leak from the sump gasket, possibly the main seal.
A little of the spec:
Shot blast under bonnet, floor & arches (original) then painted white
New section of roof welded in to replace sunroof (glass roof not safe for rallying, not immaculate but very good)
Painted black
Standard GTE engine and box + K&N panel filter
New rally spec goodridge brake lines front to rear
New rally spec nylon fuel lines front to rear
New competition goodridge braided brake hoses to calipers/cylinders
Complete head rebuild, valves lapped, new oil seals, gaskets etc
Corbeau Revolution drivers seat (?450)
Cobra Monaco S passenger (?200
2 x New Luke 4 point harness's
Rear seats removed
Rollcentre full rollcage large diameter (bolt in) + extra door bars
Momo steering wheel
Spax springs dropped 30mm
4 good tyres
New front calipers
New discs
New track rod ends
Many bushes replaced
New water pump
New handbrake cable
New battery
New alternator
Green stuff pads
New rear cylinders
New brake shoes
Just serviced, plugs, K&N panel filter, dizzy + arm, leads, oil, oil filter, brake fluid.

Runs perfectly just needs a new home to make way for other things.
