gte problems !!help!!

I cant work it out?! It was driving fine all yesterday and I go to start it this morning and it strugles to start but does. Been driving for about 10-15mins and it feels like its slowly losing power. When I come to slow down and park I put the clutch down and it cuts out, restart it and go for a spin. Now when I put my foot down in second it gets just below 40mph and drops all power but still revs and when I change up into 3rd the same happens just below 50mph? Any ideas whats going on with it?

someone must know, anyone ever had this problem? think it mite be electical

probably duff battery. check all the earth cables etc

i thought i could be the battery because its given up on starting now and doesnt hold a charge, but would a nakered battery make it lose power while driving?
