digi dash goes dim when using the brakes

well just put on some new rear lights, as the old bulb holder was broke. got both brake lights working again as one never used to.

but when i press the brake pedal my digi dash makes a littles click noise and goes dim, but when i put my side lights on and main lights on it doesnt do it.

whats cased this? fixing the broken brake light?lol

right just got in the car, started it up, light s where off, pushed the foot brake pedal, the dash went dim and now ivnoticed that the bloody head lights come on! but when i take my foot of it all goes back to normal, also its all fine when the lights are on.

any ideas now?

Take your rear lights out and wire them in again, then double check the wiring.
