Hello!

I have the opportunity to get some cheaps 16x7s but will the scrub at all? My car isnt lowered and the arches havent been rolled.

I have searched a few pages back and couldnt find an answer to this question, so i'm sorry if its a repost, but I have to go to work in a min so i havent got time to search through all the pages.

thanks

Kirsty

More than likely, yes. Do you know the offset of the wheels?

It says on the ad the offset is 20

the offset is way way out so steer well clear of them. ideally the offset should be 49mm, however with a 16 x 7 they arnt usually available so anything between this and 45mm should be fine, however there will be some rubbing and the arches will need to be rolled. the tyres should also be as small as possible to try and avoid rubbing, say a 195/45 or a 195/40.

even if you do get some 16's and have these tyres and arch mods theres always a small chance of the wheels still rubbing but they dont rub too much, just now and then on the inner arch. i suppose a small spacer would solve this.
