Rung pro tec today about a few things for a rally car.
Was asking him about rear disc conversion did he supply kit how much bla bla bla
anyway he said that vauxhall homologated the grp a nova with golf gti rear discs as the vauxhall ones were prone to locking up under heavy breaking e.t.c
he said the best setup really before 4 pots which are stupidly expensive was 16v front brakes uprated discs and pads, golf gti rear discs and calipers uprated pads, braided hoses, and a pedal box and you will have fantastic even breaking
anybody shed any light on the situation ever had much trouble with the vauxhall brakes at rear astragte cav sri are most common has anyone used anything else?
not that i dont believe allan or anything lol just wanted a second opinion as i know theres a fair few people on here using the rear discs
