Ermm no.
No oil flows outside the engine.

Where does the hose come from?
It just looks like a breathe hose to me.
Leave that connected to the cam housing.

Breather from block to cam housing, looks like a c14se or e16se to me.

Is it a 1.4SPI?

Ahh, didn't notice the ports:tard: , they do look like spi or 1.4 carb, but that deffo seems to be the crankcase breather system for the se motors?

My old 1.4SPI engine had that type of breather system.
BUt my 1.2spi engine dont.

Hmm, EPC says the 1.4 spi should have the daft little box instead? The group A spec gsi motor has that type origionally but for rallying they blank off both ends and just use the breather from behind the cam pully.

My 1400SPI was in a mk3 astra.
1200 is in the nova.

That could be why.

Yer all wronglol Its a 1.6 sv engine and my mechanic said that sum oil does flow down through it. So i cant jst block it off. Im jst gonna get a hose to go up and over r sumtin.:thumb:

Ye, its a breather pipe.
For oil fumes out of the crankcase.

Meh, 1.6Sv is a 1.4SPi, but without the SPI and 200cc bigger lol
