I know it sounds a stupid question but Ive just got a nice new shiny fuel tank. What I need to know is can it be painted and if so with what?

Don't want to do anything that might cause it to catch fire from the heat of the exhaust but I want to give is some protection against rust and the elements.

Any help will be much appreciated

Thanks

Steve

Nar it should be fine.
