I got a Gsi nova there on sat . It has adjustable suspension , pulleys , cams , bmw valves , lightened flywheel , ported and polied , balance bottom end ( if that makes sense ) , Full exhaust system , Single wiper , fully seam welded , full respray , imprezza discs and gsi cavalir calipers . Print out of 125 kw whics is about 167.6 bhp . I have also got webbers for it but i'll have to get them fitted . I'll put pics up later

167 bhp lol

Stuart

for 167 bhp id hope its got aftermarket ECU, NO afm, and a rude solid profile cam..... otherwise its a complete farce on a std ecu and afm.

Cams and pulleys, surely they should be singular

Stuart

^^ now your just being piccy lmao
(and technically it is cams as there are 8/9 cam lobes, thus the plural being cams.. lol)

Smart ****, suppose he meant pulleys as well because there is a cam pulley and a bottom pulley :D lol

i like the "bmw valves" and the "impreza discs"

Ash
19-04-06, 01:15 PM
or maybe its an XE? and impreza discs would be 5 stud.

Steve Barker

well i have the printout for the car and i have all the receipts . The discs were off a demo car . I raced mivecs and sirs beats them no problem . It has an ecotec head on it

jamie gsi16v
19-04-06, 05:32 PM

Stuart

pics of the bay would be handy.
but again if its on the std inlet manifold then there is no hope of that power

Mike.

what size engine is it?

8 or 16v?

Iain-astra
19-04-06, 11:49 PM
I think its an 8 valve

Stuart

the dyno can massively overread by the way..... and is he sure tis not 123Bhp... lol

if your not even sure what the engine is then id kinda wait till you knew all the details then posted ;) but as said. if its a 16V on a std intake manifold then your not going to hit that power. if tis an 8v on the std ecu and afm then again your not going to see that power. Simple physics and knowing whats worked in the past there ;)

the imprezza discs... meh who cares they are only brake discs lol. Some people fit Fiat coupe turbo discs because they are pretty much the right size and much cheaper than V6 ones... similar probalby goes for the imprezza discs.. EG you fit whats cheapest and "best" value for money ;)

agree the car looks good.

think people on here need to chill out a little.
you were given the figures and the spec by someone else.
i would say go and get the car on the rollers yourself if you are not sure on the power rating. that way you will be sure yourself.

Stu, my Gsi is running the Same Dizzy as that! it aint that Freaky! Might explain why i managed to break the rotor arm recently thou! lol

Stuart

i assume you purchsed it like that... it jsut seems odd for the gsi that is ecu controlled to have a 1.2/1.3 dizzy that is deisgned to run on its own there... meh

In those bay pics, it has a gsi dizzy.

I assumed the pics of the 1.2/1.3 dizzy are for his T40 setup :thumb:

in the printout i have it has 125 kw now it could be 125 bhp and the kw was a misprint but my car is faster than glanzas , mivecs and sirs
