I've been wondering about this one for a while, does anyone have info on improving the flow of the cast inlet manifold of a 1.6 gte. I may be wrong, but it looks like the most restrictive part of the engine.

its not ;)

its good for around 150bhp easy :P

you could have that abrasive fluid pumped through to smooth out the casting marks and leave a suitable finish on the runners etc, plus it would open it up a little more too. But as craig says its good for 150-180bhp (nova neil ran his turbo on one too remember)

You can enlarge the throttle body. Ive sold one to a guy that bored it out & he said the change in sound & deffo a few extra bhp was felt.
