Strengthening kit

Anybody know where I can get an engine bay strengthening kit from?
How many plates are there? Any pics of an engine bay with them welded in?

Hi mate!!! There are 14 plates in total, the kit is about 65 pound +postage from chris astley motorsport tel 01254208218 tell him graham off novaload sent you and he will sort you out. the kits are excellent quality ive got one on my nova, also ask chris to e.mail you pics of were to weld the plates as the pics are a great help hope this helps

definately worth doing Luke if you have the engine out.

the car feels far more taught when sterring through twisty bends & the torque steer is reduced a little IMO. If it holds the shell together as well as it says in all the manuals & write ups then its only a good thing.

Yeah, while the engines out I thought I better get a strengthening kit put in, as its one thing I didn?t do when I first rebuild it!
