nova sr clocks in 1.2 nova

ive recenly just put nova sr clocks in my 1.2 nova and the fuel gauge doesnt seem to be right i have put ?8 worth of fuel in the car i turn the ignition on and it will move up to red on the gauge then the light will go off i start the engine then the gauge will start moving down and then the fuel light will come on what im saying is i no the gauge moves down a bit when u start it from when you turn the ignition what im saying is should the light be on at ?8 worth or is there something wrong

Was the tank empty before your ?8 worth? Stick another tenner in and see what happens, nova fuel indicators aren't the best things to start with.

Depends on a lot of things really, we could go into the global economy and war affecting the price of oil. the area you live in as transportation costs affect the general price of petrol in an area. etc. etc.

I think really we need to know in terms of litres or the position of the fuel gauge needle.
