Regretably i sold my nova this week and i have bought a Ford Fiesta mk3 as a runaround till i can get me a GSI nova. However i bought some tsw wheels 2nd hand but they didint come wheel the wheel nuts, i fitted them but they wudnt tighten up properly as i cudnt get a wheel brace in the holes, so i used a 1/2 drive wrench and socket which fitted really well and tightened them up as tight as i cud with that. Is this safe? do i need the tsw wheel nuts or will these do?? Please help me lol

as a rule, steel wheel bolts are different to ally ones. they are usually shorter for a start, so there will be less 'grip' on the threads. using a socket instead of a wheel brace will probably mean you actually tightened them up more. take it for a slow drive round the block, and check for vibrations etc, and then recheck the bolts when you get home.

Fords are Studs rather than bolts IIRC. Borrow a torque wrench from someone, and do em up to around 70 - 80 lb/ft.
