Right basically, my nova is on 17" rims, lowered 60mm on shocks and springs, the rear passenger side dusnt rub at all, wheras the rear drivers side rubs slightly, both archs have been pulled out slightly. any one else know wat might have happened, or might the rear drivers side jus need widening slightly more..... here are pics to show u wat i mean

PASSENGER SIDE WHICH IS FINE

Thats just normal.
Its just due to manufacturing differences etc, so the rear beam sits slightly further across to one side.
I have slightly more clearence on the o/side arch than the n/side.

If i were you, id get smaller wheels. 17s are too big on a nova imo.

Not really much you can do.
Apart from pulling the arch wider.

You cant really expect a 17" wheel not to rub tho.
Do you know what offset the wheels are?

Well the other 3 dont rub at all, its jus recently the rear drivers side one i noticed a score in the tyre where it has been rubbing.

i got 195/45R15 rims mate ET43.

It rubs when theres 2+ in the back. But im runing on standard 1.2 suspension which is very soft. but I will need to bring back the arches a couple mm so that when it gets lowered it dnt rub.

you should get a wheel with a higher offset if possible. ET40's for instance.

try some new rear bushes might re-align them a bit, if your running the old vaus jobbies they are very spongy and prone to wear, get some poly ones.

Depends on the current offset - I mean if they're et45 then changing to 40 would make it worse

yeh im not sure on the exact offset, i was told that i cud find this out by looking on the inside of the rim itself? cudnt see it when i last got the chance to look, i would have thort that they are pretty close to vauxhall fitment tho alredy

Yep, usually the offset is stamped on the inside edge of the rim or inside one of the spokes.

What width are the wheels, and what size tyres do you have?
