Have just replaced the dashboard after replacing the steering lock on my Mk2 1.2i cos some tw@ nicked it a couple of weeks back. I have a wire left over that I can't figure out where it belongs - doh!

It's a single blue and yellow that comes off the loom at the same place as the connector for the dash. It can reach as far as the ignition but there is no conection to attach it to that I can see.

Everything that I can think of works so i can't figure out where it belongs, anyone got a clue?

IIRC that's the Oil pressure guage tell tale wire, only applicable if you have the GTE/GSI clocks.

Ye, oil pressure.
If you dont have a pressure guage, just tape it up with the clock plug.

It will run the digi dash. It won't however give the correct reading for an aftermarket electronic oil pressure gauge, as the sender is calibrated to vauxhall gauges.

The same wire runs the digidash as the gsi/gte clocks if thats what you mean.
