F13CR
There are several endratio's (diff's) you can use (from f10&f13), the higher the number the lower the top speed and the faster the acceleration :thumb:

without looking at the above table I beleive it to be the F13 cr from 1.4 mpi equipped Corsa's (early SRi's)

thanks for the info fellas, so an f13 would be fast exceleration and low top end?
I'll look in to this more, i want fast exceleration with a top end of about 100mph
hopefully itl be in my road rally car
an F13CR gearbox with a 4.18 FD (finding a 4.53 is near impossible for sensible money these days) will give you a top speed of about 120ish on 185/45/15 tyres and a rev limit of about 7K... plus it will get youy there shaggin fast :D
try my gear ratio site out in th lin in my sig (might have popups but jsut close that)
Hi, is there anywhere tha lists the ratios that came in other cars/gearboxes? ie cavaliers, novas and astras, so that other diff and cluster ratios can be selected?
Cheers
theres a link to some similar images like that on the link in my sig.
BUT the F10-F13 boxes have "fixed" 1st - 4ths and a swappable 5th and FD.
same goes for the F15 upwards boxes but the parts cant be swapped from F10/13 to F15+
Ok, thanks for that, i wasnt intereseted in swapping individual gears as such, but swapping complete 1st-4th clusters. For example, does an astra with a F13CR box, have a different ratio to a corsa with an F13CR box?
I am interested in 2nd gear mainly, i am aware that there are several different 2nd gears, ie a 1.96, 2.14, 2.2 etc.
Is there anyway, other than stripping the box to identify which car has which?
Many thanks
the CR clusters are a whole should have the same 2'nd gears.

1st 29 at 7000revs
2nd 54 at 7000revs
3rd about 78 at 7000revs
