knocking 20xe

i have a nocking that sounds like inlet cam area its not tappity bit deeper sound :( and wen u rev its to bout 3000 dies away any ideas or commen faults on the xe which causes this???

Hmm, this happened on my mates XE, turned out to be a bent crank & big end bearing. Check for metal in the oil or oil filter housing. Hope its not that mate.

wow bent crank :mad: i hope not i just stripped the rocker off andon let cam 1 of the saddles looks bit misshaped and nearly cracking not much tho minute crack but i carnt see it bein that myself. i hope it ant no big end bearins or enythin like that massive job!!!!:confused:

Could be bent cam then? would make sense. Still should check for metal and avoid using the car. Could make more damage otherwise.
