saloon exhaust confusion

Im currently playing with a nova saloon and i have exhausts and stuff every where,

basically its a tempory car but the back box and centre section fell apart.

so i have stuck a gte 4 branch on it and a gte magnex centre section which i had lying around.

will a gte standard back box fit or wil it be to small (pipe diameter)http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif i dont really want to buy a magnex (or similar back box)

im not worried about the fact it wont stick out the back of the car just need it done by the weekend

anyone know i dont really want to by a back box i cant use.

Measure the diameter of the magnex center section.
Chances are it will be too big for a std backbox.

i had wondered that it might be too big

but

you can buy just a magnex back box and it will fit to a standard system so they must be fairly close

i think i will risk a gte box

no, magnex back box's dont fit magnex system's, i've had both, the bore is smaller on the back boxes

When you buy a backbox its meant to fit the std system.

Whereas when you buy a system, its a larger bore.
So a std size backbox wont fit it as ste said.
