need help custom exaust

hello sorry about the **** picture as i am poo
on one side ive got a magnex 5inch slash cut exaust and i want another on the other side but it wont fit unless i cut out the wheel well so that is not gonna happen
so i was thinking on getting just the tailpipe [ 5inch slash cut one and welding it to another pipe and then welding the hole thing onto the existing exaust pipe wauld this work i need help http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f272/knukkles/****PIC1.jpg

try re-naming the pic knuckles, the swear filter is stopping the link from working.

when i worked in a sheet metal shop a couple of years ago we did a saxo like that from what i can remeber, but i would of thought the right hand side would be louder??? Didn't hear the saxo running in the shop as it had that daft key pad lock cr*p. think the lad was happy with it though.

IIRC EPO did a similar layout but had no silencers at all, sounded very nice.
