This is my first Thread on NL! been watching the forums as i'm working on an engine rebuild of a C20XE. Any way, my story i wanna share, she wrecked my '92 nova! i was turning onto the roundabout (we love them in holland) while this lady ignored a red light. Result? She planted her Ford Focus straight into my baby:
From the outside it doesnt seem so serious . . .

Its the inside thats the problem. The weak spot of every Nova . . .

My friends say that I will die in a Nova at the age of 100. I have been looking for a standard GSI but its hard to find a "normal" GSI here in Holland.
ps: my English, I work at IBM where the main language is . . . . English

There is more to the story, we removed the 1.2L engine (thats why we just cut the driveshaft in half lol). Also there was more damage then just the inner wing and outer panelling as you can see below . . .

in Germany the Nova's are in much better condition then in Holland that's true. when its freezing here, they spray some kind of salt on the road that the nova rear arches really cant handle. in Germany they use a different kind of salt which is less "nova destructible".
ahh that explains the lack of rusted cars there lol
