just bought a 2ltr 16v nova had about a month and developed a fault gave the vehacle a full service includein dizzy and roter arm now problem bak every time i try an accelerate by useing more than half throtle in any gear the car trys to brake down as if its bein starved of fuel or sumthing as though its kangaroin down the rd can ne 1 plz help

Fuel Filter? or maybe a crap fuel pump, get one off another XE, Cav or something. Try that mate

mine does that sometimes, but only if i floor is from 1,000rpm in 3rd,4th or 5th, once above 1,500rpm its fine,
