redtop problem plz help

just bought a 2ltr 16v nova had about a month and developed a fault gave the vehacle a full service includein dizzy and roter arm now problem bak every time i try an accelerate by useing more than half throtle in any gear the car trys to brake down as if its bein starved of fuel or sumthing as though its kangaroin down the rd can ne 1 plz help

Was the fuel tank swapped for an injection one?

yes tank has cin swaped 4 a nova gte one an engine was done by courtney out of an astra 16v gte
