Finally started project - pics

Ive finally started the project

Ive been gathering bits and bobs up now for around 6 months and talking bout it without actually doing anything!! so ive finally got off my ars and started getting something done. Not a lot so far but have to start somewhere.

I had a black shell which i was using but the more i stripped at it the more work it needed so fluck that - bought this a few weeks back, 1 litre, 24000 genuine miles, you do the maths:

A few minor blemishes which will get sorted in good time but its as clean as i was gona get.

Aint done much yet, fitted gsi dash, window surrounds, getting engine ready for out, and half fitted elcetric windows, rear door cards e.t.c nothing major as yet but hopefully will be able to keep at her and get her finished.

mine its a big fast 1200 to lol nothin special at all, its half dead at the moment because of a steel post but she will rise again lol

Aye saw it for sale in Autotrader, was considering going to have a nosey at it myself!!

Haven't got round to doing much to the GSi yet, just getting parts at the minute, but will be jumping into it head first once I get uni finished!! But if you're offering a good price everything is for sale!!!!lol

lol a chap taht lives a mile from me had one with 62000 miles - car was mint and i meen mint. sold it 3 days ago for ?900 - no mot or anything but really genuine wee car with low miles - sorry

thats it for now. Havent done much else apart from this apart from finish electric windows, fit braided lines, clean up engine bay and all the other small timeconsuming jobs i mentioned above.

Suspension is here on tuesday fingers crossed, polybushes hopefully this week to so should be able to get rolling if i can sort out back axle. And possibly start building engine.
