Now, i have valver brakes on my SR, and good as they are, they seem to lack in punch that would would expect from 16v brakes. Is there anything i can do to make them more powerful? I was thinking along the lines of different master cylinder and servo, because im sure they are crap like the original brakes on the SR, but am not sure on which is best and what sort of job it is to replace etc...

changing the servo WONT improve the braking "power" unless your physically unable to press the brake pedal.

larger bore master cylinder is always good.

Any suggestions as to which to use? Any off of a larger engined Vauxhall?

You've only had those brakes a few months and you want more already LMAO!

Indeed i do lol, they are obvioulsy a HUGE improvement over the originals, though my little engined Nova still manages to accellerate quickly enough to need good brakes lol. Very easy to lock up aswell

Increasing the bore of the master cylinder will reduce travel but increase effort.
