I just built up the suspension and the tyres is very close to the spring on my fron coilovers. Is everyone elses as close.

My god its tight. Wish i could say the same about the wife. lol

i had this problem, they were touching, you need 5mm spacers!

i thought that. A wee 5mm shim should do it.

i aint got a prob with mine, (which were baxter). which is weird. supose it depends what wheels your running

Its due to the width of speedlines.

generally 7" or wider rims even with the correct offset will result in the tyre running close to the shocks. On some coil-overs you can remove the short helper spring which raises the lower platform, moving it up and away from the tyre.

A miss is as good as a mile mate. You shouldnt really fit spacrers unless you absolutely have to. Drive it as it is for now, and then if you hear any rubbing, fit a 3mm spacer.

The joys of running the correct offset wheels....

If it were 7J et 38 TSW Stealths you'd be OK (clearing the shocks anyway)

my speedlines dont need spacers to clear my avo coilovers
thats with a 195/45 16 toyo.
