Third Brake Light

Just wondered what you guys out there did? im after a third brake light, probably in my rear window - want something thatll look in keepin with the car and almost standard if thats possible? dont want one on ma spoiler or bumper really, may consider i spose.

just buy a brake light kit for the rear window... preferably a square one and whack it in the middle.
Had on on my SR and it looked like it should have been there.

hide it in the back bumper
ive got mk2 bumpers and its in the middle where the gofaster stripe is u cant tell its there till u press the brake

I had a 5-bulb one in my Antibes (soon to be fitted in the GTE).

It's one you can buy from Halfords for about ?16 and looks very smart.

It's got a flat mounting plate with a hinge then a bar with another hinge at the light unit end so you get loads of room for fine adjustment.
I screwed it into the metalwork of the roof just ahead of the tailgate rubber seal.....the screws came through into the drainage channel where the tailgate hinges are.
It then sat right at the very top of the window without being noticeable in the rear-view mirror.

U sed preferably not on a spoiler, but i got a suxo spoiler and smoothed it into the gte spoiler with a brake light, looks sood only cost 60 quid!
