Best head for 1600 with T40's?

Im buying my old GSi block back and was wondering what the best set up is for fitting T40's?

kinda new to engine tuning but know the basics.

plan is,

1600GSi Bottom End - rebuilt - poss ARP bolts?
1600GSi Head - Skimmed, ported and polished.
285 cam - or similar
Vernier pulley
Weber T40's - (il get them jetted etc by a bloke down the road who knows his stuff - does lot sof rallying etc)
4-2-1 Manifold - and full system

so nothing like fitting a 14SE head etc etc as ive heard that fitting a 1.2 head on a 1.3 or 1.4SR will raise compression?

or is this just a myth?

Nar, thats true.

But the 1.6 head is pretty good as it is.
So stick with it.
