2.0 brakes upgrade

I really need-want to do this went to the shop today and asked for some H-L Reg 2.0 cavi brakes, they told me they were the vented 1s, so now i need the calipers do i have 2 get cavi 1s or can i use astra, vectra etc?? any ideas??

1.8/2.0 16v mk3 astra should be the same.

hi mate!!!! yes there all the same will fit straight on, i would go for 2ltr ones if your goin to upgrade

.......well i managed to get some cavi 2.0 calipers from Griffin vaux by me for ?20 with good pads:) and then went to car spares and got the vented discs for ?21 new just the fitting which i will do at college proper chuffed all for ?41 heres the pics >>>

hi mate!!! I got a set of front astra 2ltr 8valve gte calipers, off a h reg in perfect working order (they are painted red) with almost new ,mintex pads, covered around 1000 miles and ,uprated vented disc's, will sell them for a good price!!! make me a offer(the disc's cost me just over ?80) if you want them... they fit straight on a nova etc..and have great stopping power...text me 07704444369 PLEASE NOTE HAD THEM ON MY NOVA 2YRS BUT THE CAR DON'T COVER MANY MILES

ive got calipers, discs and pads off a Cavvy MK3 1.7TD (same factor number as the 2.0SRi jobbies :thumb:

im still banned though so i havent had a chance to try them hehe

Id fit new pads with the new discs too.

I need to upgrade my brakes in the next week or so hopefully. Ive seen an SRi Cavalier down the scrappy this weekend when I was getting a new window for me nova, Which calipers are best? Cav GSi/Sri-are they the same?
