Bonnet Vent Baseplate

Got a bonnet vent, and im told I need a baseplate for it.

It ain't one of these crappy ones made out of paper mache. Its rigid plastic, but it doesn't have a base. Its hollow.

Didn't get anything else with it. Its all sprayed up, ready to fit, but theres not way of attaching it to the bonnet !!!

Any ideas ??

cut a hole in the bonnet, just smaller than the vent, and then use fiber glass filler under the bonnet to attach it! smooth it all off and spray the underside!

If it has tits or wheels it'l giv u probs!:)
